The River Room
12 – 30 guestsFloor-to-ceiling river light, its own bar and a view that sets the tone before the first course is even poured.
Behind the river’s glow, Aura opens its doors to a quieter kind of evening — a private room, a dedicated team and a menu composed exclusively around your table.
From an intimate dinner for two to a celebration for thirty, every detail is orchestrated for your occasion, your tempo and your guests.

Set opposite the pass, this is dining as theatre — the kitchen at work, the tasting menu still warm.
A la carte or a full tasting journey — shaped around dietary notes, seasonal produce and your guests’ tastes. Our chefs build it as if cooking at home.
Pairings chosen bottle by bottle — from rare cool-climate pours to cellar gems held back for evenings exactly like this one.
Bar & mixology build a bespoke pour for your party — a welcome drink, a toast to the room, or a full private bar to close the night.
One dedicated host arranges the room, the timing, the candles and the quiet details — so your evening simply unfolds.

We booked the Wine Room for our tenth anniversary. The room, the candlelight, the menu written around us — it felt like the whole restaurant was holding the evening just for two.
Share a few details and our events & dining director will be in touch within one business day to compose your evening — the room, the menu and every quiet detail between.
Room capacity, set menus, deposits and the small details that decide whether an evening works. Anything else, our events team answers directly.
Our riverside room seats fourteen for a long-table dinner and twenty-two for a standing reception. Both layouts keep the river in view, and for anything larger we can take the full venue exclusively on a Sunday evening or a Monday.
That is how we prefer to work. Send us the occasion, the number of guests and any favourites you already have in mind, and we will send a three or four course menu with matched drinks. Every course is designed to be shared, so the pacing of the night is built in rather than added on.
A minimum spend applies on Friday and Saturday evenings and is confirmed in your proposal. To secure the date we take a deposit, which is deducted from the final bill. Weekday and Sunday events are quoted on the menu you choose rather than a fixed spend.
Four to six weeks is comfortable, and weekends fill first, so sooner is better. For allergies and dietary needs, tell us at the time of booking so the kitchen can brief the brigade and have the right station ready before your guests arrive.
